Upneet Singh Teji is an associate in Harwood Lloyd's Commercial Department, concentrating in commercial transactions and business law. Mr. Teji joined Harwood Lloyd in May, 2011. Mr. Teji advises and represents clients on matters relating to commercial financing, contract negotiations, business transactions, joint venture projects, and general corporate counseling. He also has experience in advising individual and corporate clients in all aspects of real estate acquisition, financing, and development, including the development of affordable housing.

Mr. Teji earned his B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from Loyola University Chicago in 2004. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall Law School in 2007. During law school, Mr. Teji served as President of the Student Bar Association and sat on multiple faculty committees addressing the budget and general administration of the institution.

Prior to joining Harwood Lloyd, Mr. Teji represented a number of public housing authorities and affordable housing developers throughout New Jersey in matters relating to public and private financing, municipal law, landlord-tenant law, and regulatory compliance with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Mr. Teji is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey (2008), the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (2008) and the courts of the State of Illinois (2011).

Mr. Teji is a member of the Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional Counsel.

Mr. Teji is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.
